The Manta incorporates multiple sensors into one instrument.  Since each instrument has memory built-in, they are extremely versatile and can be used for profiling or as a water quality datalogger.

Designed for Top-Performance:  All of our sensors incorporate time proven field compatible technologies.  Circuitry is isolated ensuring that there is no crosstalk between any sensors.  We even use a separate ground rod to isolate the power systems from the sensors.  We separated the analog from the digital.

 

Designed for Reliability:  Two of the biggest sources of instrument failures are sensors and cables.  To improve the reliability, we recessed the sensors so they don't stick out as much.  This offers increased protection and makes them sturdier.  For cables, we got rid of the exposed bulkhead connector.  No pins to bend or break off.  And we bought cable with a built-in waterblock.  This prevents water from traveling through the cable in the event of any knocks or cuts.

  

Designed for Versatility:  All Mantas have memory, so units can be converted from profiling to logging just by adding a battery pack.  They work in all your surface water applications, from fresh water to sea water.  For groundwater, an optional flow-through cell is available.

 

Designed for Ease-of-Use:  The Manta plugs right into the USB port on your computer, with no special power adapters required.  Data is transferred right into Microsoft® Excel format, so it is very easy.  All software and PC cables are included with every order.  The PC software is very easy and intuitive.
